playing catch up

I am back from Manhattan, with great stories, lots of pictures, warm memories, buckets of inspiration, and new books.

New York has a solid grip on my heart, and this trip only strengthened that hold.

There is much to catch up on here, so I’ll get back to that, and leave you with this, uh… vignette I saw on the plane.

The best comedy shows the ridiculous in the real – this sketch made me snort my soda water and laugh out loud, waking the poor man sleeping in the next seat.

Back with a regular post tomorrow.

  • If I had been drinking milk…it would have traveled out my nostrils with a high velocity upon watching the video clip…Thanks!!!

  • It’s spot-on, too. Those gags in comedy always piss me off, the ones where some misogynistic bastard acts like female physiology is set up the way it is just to make HIS life difficult. Seriously, dude? *gets down from soapbox*

    This guy got it right.

  • Thank you for the visit, Susannah. It’s funny that you came after the Naughty Words Wednesday post, as this is probably the cussiest comment I’ve made in a while. I also tend to avoid it on the blog. (Cussiest is likely not a word, but I support the fact of a living language.)
