A walk in the woods this time of year is a stroll through a kaleidescope of grey.
There is good news though – we are starting to see a hint of thickening at the very tip of thin grey branches. The leaves and flowers and berries to come have begun their journey to life.
But it will be some time before the parks fill with colour and warmth and fragrance.
I can’t help much with fragrance and warmth; I offer you brilliant colour. (I think this is a type of bromeliad?)
(From a walk in the woods… in Hawaii, nearly this time last year.)
