a whole new year, one day at a time

This time of year, there is a natural tendency to reflect on the time past, to look ahead to the time to come.

We stand on the cusp.

Many of the interesting people I follow/am friends with on the internet have come up with their own take on how to do this.

Some might work for you.

Ali Edwards’ One Little Word

Sarah Kathleen Peck’s Do Something 2012 Inspirations

Joy Tanksley’s Making Magic with Intentions

Susannah Conway’s Unravelling 2012

Chris Guillebeau’s most recent manifesto, The Tower

Doing all of these might take more than all day. But maybe one or more of them will help you shape your year to come in satisfying, creative ways.

My one little word for 2012 is chosen, and I’ll post on that soon.

Happy New Year!
