the hills are alive

I had a hard time choosing a photo to go with this month’s light quote for my one little word. Only because I wanted to share something old from Greece. I opened that folder.

And fell head-first like Alice down the rabbit hole. So many wonderful photos. So many delicious memories. I hope there is about to be an influx of travel photos here.

Even after all this time
The sun never says to the earth,
“You owe me.”

Look what happens with
a love like that,
It lights the whole sky.

    • Thank you, Joy. Indeed, simple yet profound. And I find I am most likely to experience that combination of feelings outside – in the woods, at the beach, staring into the depths of a blossom. I think you understand this, yes? I am returning to myself, feeling stronger every day, engaging more. That is also a simple thing, yet profound. And I am grateful. xo

  • Nice shot. I hope you continue to feel good—maybe you can ice while sitting on the lounges outside cause it is supposed to be nice today.

    • Thank you, Dr. Kim. The sun during September and October was luscious, and I was glad for your company – and your friendship – sitting on those lounges.
